// 365 SMG ACADEMY · TRAIN LIKE IT MATTERS
Tactical training, state licensing, CCW, defensive tactics, and our proprietary 3 Range Combat doctrine — taught by working professionals, on a working range.
01 / CORE PROGRAMS

TACTICAL TRAINING
Live-fire qualification, draw mechanics, malfunction clearance, low-light, vehicle work, and force-on-force scenario reps. We train under pressure because the street doesn't slow down for you.

LICENSING
Florida Class D (Unarmed) and Class G (Armed) statutory curriculum, annual G requalification, and instructor-track certification. State-certified, audit-ready, no shortcuts.

CCW
Multi-state CCW qualification, holster work, concealment garments, draw-from-cover, and the legal framework of armed self-defense. You will leave knowing when not to draw — that's the lesson most courses skip.

DT · DEFENSIVE TACTICS
Use-of-force decision matrix, empty-hand control, escort holds, weapon retention, ground recovery, and de-escalation. Built on real case law and real bodycam after-action review.
02 / FLAGSHIP DOCTRINE
3 Range Combat is the operating system behind every 365 SMG graduate. Every violent encounter happens in one of three ranges. The fighter who reads the range first, and matches the right tool to it, controls the fight. Everyone else reacts.

GRAPPLING RANGE
Inside the wingspan. Body-to-body. This is where wrestlers, jiu-jitsu, and weapon retention live. Pulling a firearm here is how officers get disarmed and shot with their own gun.

STRIKING RANGE
Just outside the clinch. Boxing, Muay Thai, and impact tools own this space. Trying to grapple here means eating shots; trying to draw here means losing the draw.

WEAPON RANGE
Beyond contact. Firearms, OC, baton, and verbal command. Closing this distance to grapple — or hesitating to use the tool the range demands — is how good people lose fights they should have won.
⚠ THE LESSON THAT KEEPS YOU ALIVE
Pull a firearm in the grappling range and you've just handed your attacker a weapon. Throw a punch at weapon range and you closed the distance for them. Try to talk someone down with a baton already drawn and you've escalated a fight you could have ended. Range dictates tool. Always. That single recognition — trained until it's reflex — is the difference between a graduate and a statistic.

03 / FOUNDATIONS
Before a tool. Before a technique. Before a tactic. Every fighter — uniformed or otherwise — is built on three physical foundations. We train them on day one and we train them every day after.
If you can't keep your base, you can't shoot, strike, or grapple. Period. We drill stance, footwork, and recovery on uneven ground, in low light, and under load.
Functional strength to control a resisting subject, carry a partner, and finish a fight without gassing out. Strength is a safety feature for everyone involved.
Mobility prevents injury, expands your weapon's reach, and lets you transition between ranges cleanly. Stiff operators get hurt — by the subject and by themselves.
04 / TESTIMONIALS
After the active-shooter walkthrough they ran with our safety team, our ushers stopped feeling like volunteers and started moving like a unit. The Sunday after, three of them caught a suspicious vehicle in the lot before it ever reached the door.
365 SMG built our lockdown protocol from the floor up — literally. They walked every hallway, every classroom. Our drills are tighter, our staff is calmer, and our parents finally feel heard.
We hired them to retrain our overnight security after an incident. The 3RC concept changed how my officers think — they de-escalate faster, and when they can't, they pick the right tool the first time. Guest complaints dropped. Insurance liked it too.
I'm a small-business owner, not a fighter. The CCW and 3RC weekend taught me what range I was in before I ever touched my firearm. That's the lesson I tell every friend who carries.
